First meeting of Society of Emergency Physicians Pakistan, held on 23 May 2009 at Regent
Plaza Karachi, attended by 40 Emergency Physicians around Pakistan.
The constitution / Bylaws of Society was discussed and approved. Selection of Executive Committee and Election of office bearers were held in this meeting.

Society for Emergency Physicians Pakistan
Society of Emergency Physicians Pakistan a non political society,
registered under Societies Registration ACT, XXI of 1860, is working to safeguard
the rights of Emergency Physicians and to improve emergency medical / surgical
care in Pakistan.
At society we are working for a common cause to protect the fundamental rights of all emergency physicians, irrespective of their rank and socioeconomic status, and our cause is expanded to every place where ever its members are working to provide emergency care.

Aims & Objectives of
Society of Emergency Physicians Pakistan
Society of Emergency Physicians Pakistan is working to improve emergency medical
care across Pakistan. We are working to promote the field of Emergency Medicines
including pre-hospital care, trauma care, toxicology, pediatric emergency care
and care during disasters and general emergencies.
Society of emergency Physicians Pakistan strives towards recognition of emergency medicine as a separate specialty in Pakistan, and to encourage and assist new comers in this field.
